| I loved this movie. The dog has to control the action and was assured of another character is what he or she deserves. He has to play the role of God, the wise and fair judge. I saw everything as a great parody of every imaginable plot and cultural stereotype. I found the suspension of disbelief, can not wait to discover how the author resolves the conflict without anyone telling the police, however, never had any of it seriously. | This film started very well, too. Then, suddenly all start to tusks and bars double crossing and killing each other at the end! Yes, to be a good, intelligent film ironic, you need to have some double crossing. | I dated one of the producers years ago and was aware of the title, but in reality he had never bothered to rent. It's like the final Sunday of the film recently recorded it finally satisfy my curiosity. I had forgotten that so many recognizable players had signed for the film and I think the cast acquitted well with what we were given. I think the biggest problem was that it was not as dark as a dark comedy is a farce. I'm not sure you can do a lot of farce with an edge, but I'm sure there are other movies out there that have done successfully. On the other hand, without touching the light would have been very different, dark and heavy film and most likely would have suffered for it. I guess that the writer could have been an attempt by stages and more verbose, less "MadCap version, but perhaps then the final would not have been as interesting as it was here. Perhaps he might not enjoy it, but I did. I just enjoyed what was a night of theater popcorn. ML good job, I am proud of you. |
