| Craven the first horror Cursed Fantasy since Scream films wolf this fun little Cursed film that is not as bad as some critics would have you think. During a car wreck, brother and sister were bitten by a wolf monster and of course there is a full moon rising! While not granted Cursed to live up to some of the other films of Wes Craven (Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, the recent Red Eye) is a pleasant walk of horror. Screen writer Kevin Williamson, as usual, gives a story that is both exciting and fun effectively. Craven adds nice touches his leadership, giving the Cursed Fantasy movie some slick style. Rick Baker provides some outstanding gore FX (be sure to watch this DVD movie Cursed without a rating). There is also a great rock soundtrack. The cast is quite good, but it is the least known stars Jesse Eisenberg and Judy Greer turn in better performances. It is not American Werewolf in London (1981), Cursed, but a good watch and one of the best werewolf movies in a while. From *** **** |
| "Cursed" is like any other Cursed film Craven, technically well prepared, but with a narrative laziness that dilutes the impact of the film. I had read terrible things about the Cursed film (and its racks problems), but I liked it and I have no idea why so many people hated the movie. This is a silent film, but all this is meant to be silly and cheesy. Writer Kevin Williamson attempts to do for the werewolf genre, what he did for the Slasher ( "Scream"), and the genres of science fiction ( "The Faculty"). It is true that the Cursed Fantasy is far from perfect, but almost Craven and Williamson, pull it out. The problem of the filmmakers have here is that John Landis ( "American Werewolf in London") and Joe Dante ( "The Howling") have already done this in a brilliant manner, the DivX Movie Cursed is derived. In addition, the movie: Cursed lacks a good balance between humor and horror, which is what makes this Cursed Fantasy film work. But as a tribute to the "Class Z 'film yesterday, I thought the film: Cursed worked well. | This is the worst Cursed movie I have seen in recent history (which includes Lake Zombie!). It is annoying, noisy, and feels like the entire production was rushed and slopped together. It is simply a lot of steam smelly, worthless trash. Add to that poor CGI, absurd and predictability in the face all over the place, acting embarrassing Williamson forced and clichés of the "political views, and a total lack of depth, and has the worst horror DVD movie Cursed of the year and . It was not even fun to laugh at. Wes Craven, this was his darkest hour ... hang their heads in shame. While we're at it, you also Ricci. |
