| Just write reviews when a John Q Crime movie is very bad, like John P. was looking in disbelief at how cliché dialogue, the lines, acting, and almost everything else in the film. Taking into account the amount of talent in the film, I was surprised by how clumsy and predicate meaningless. If you watch the DVD, see the documentary about the health care system is that there is approximately 100 times more interesting and convincing in the movie. 1 in 10, no doubt. |
| While the working poor who always stuck to them, 'John Q' is a John Q movie showing the effects of time, a growing gap between rich and poor. Rich people certainly deserve the best care they can afford, because let's be honest, if you were rich, we would expect the same thing. While the rich can afford private rooms and private care, all deserve the right to the best standard of care that can save our lives. Many in the United States who say health care is not a right. Of course it is that doctors take the Hippocratic oath to help everyone, and then it gets distorted in a business. Although not condoned, Denzel Washington's actions to save the life of his son in 'John Q' and while America remains the only nation in the G-7 has not socialized medicine for its people, we are here in Canada watching the slow decline of the health care of our situation in a two-tier system where the rich receive better care for everyone else. As the John Q Crime film tries to make this policy, there are big holes in the script in some situations, but the conclusion is right on target, since it does not excuse the actions of John Q completely. He has the majority of public support on their side and that is the secret message that if people help each other, namely, doctors, insurance companies, HMOs, hospitals and rich, which would be a better world. |
| This was indeed a good, good, realistic film: John Q that shows exactly how life is difficult for some people, and if not fight for their rights, no one will.The players, from Washington to Woods ecxellent, especially Robert Duval, the only thing that this John Q film is doesent shine ecxess the drama, the lack of action, and Ray Liotta, Lika, which seems to have lost the advantage and retire.I recommend this film, however, all doctors, it may think twice before taking certain decisions. |
| I am concerned when I saw this movie. Deeply disturbed. It is clear that the director did the same when it was Oliver Stone directed Platoon: DISH load a bit of propaganda disguised as "entertainment" in order to manipulate public opinion. Considering that the squad was pro-communist, anti-American, anti-Western propaganda, John P. was the socialist propaganda, pure and simple. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if a director wants to get his point across, you should put it right in front, instead of being silent in this regard and show that under the guise of 'entertainment'. As Platoon, this John Q film is very subtle but dangerously subversive and, therefore, completely horrible. |
