The plot concerns Lewis Thomas (Paul Walker), a young man who decides to go cross-country to pick up his high school sweetheart, Venna Wilcox (Leelee Sobieski), from college. On his way there, he bails his brother, Fuller Thomas (Steve Zahn), out of jail. Fuller, looking for a good time, decides to ride with Lewis. During their trip to pick up Venna, Fuller coaxes Lewis into playing a cruel joke, through their CB radio, on a truck driver, known only as 'Rusty Nail' (voiced by Ted Levine). When the joke takes a deadly turn, Lewis, Venna, and Fuller find themselves being relentlessly stalked by the psychotic truck driver who is looking for more than an apology.

Written by JJ Abrams and directed by John Dahl of "Rounders" fame, "Joy Ride" is a fun, silly thriller road cheerfully unpretentious, and it plays like a demented cross between "Duel" and "The Hitcher" with some dumb college kids thrown in for good measure. This is a deliberate and a B-movie that is very self-conscious, but hopefully not self-referential. Paul Walker and Steve Zahn play two drivers in the film, the brothers go a driver of that truck (voiced by Ted Levine), who comes to the persecution and make their lives a hell. Half of the movie: Joy Ride Leelee Sobieski appears after a brief scene at the beginning of the Joy Ride Thriller and is pretty and gets into dangerous situations. Yes, it sounds horrible but it is quite serious and funny in a way that works. Ted Levine is really big as this truck driver who calls himself Rusty Nail. Not really see any point in the film, but her voice acting is excellent. What's refreshing about "Joy Ride" than that in general are run by only one decent and well-shot Joy Ride Thriller film is a lot of fun, it's completely gore-less. There is one scene toward the end of the Joy Ride Thriller film is somewhat violent, but it is not something you would not see it in a tame "X-Files" episode. This is a fun, self-conscious way and completely unpretentious thriller that can not compete with the higher inputs in this sub-genre, but it is much better than most movies like it. 7 / 10

Steven Spielberg's debut film: Joy Ride 'Duel', about a man who inadvertently offended a truck driver, remains one of his best, leaner than most of his later work, and none the worse for it. Over thirty years later came John Dahl 'Rodakill', a film: Joy Ride of occupation very similar territory, but in no way superior to its predecessor. Dahl is quite good at handling action scenes, but his Joy Ride Thriller movie is a little raw, a little more over the top, and a much less plausible that Spielberg's masterpiece (the truck, for example, seems to have a greater turning radius functioning like a human!) 'Roadkill' is still in possession of a certain power of intestine, but less in the case of this comparison, it is definitely more.

"Joyride" is a very good film.it combines elements of suspense, action and humor skillfully.the story involves Fuller (Steve Zahn) and Lewis (Paul Walker) Thomas, two brothers on a road trip, which play a cruel joke a trucker.so, the truck driver decides to take revenge on them and terrorize them.meanwhile brothers collected Venna (Leelee Sobieski), who has no idea what is being done to itself in for.However soon discovers that she is also became terrified by the truck driver and will play an important role in their revenge.basically, what follows is action, suspense, humor and some fear some moments.this DivX Movie Joy Ride is a real nail biter.the acting is convincing, and the film: Joy Ride okay paced.i recommend is 9 / 10
