Best of all, Illeana Douglas as Dillons wonderfully cynical sister. "What he thought of his first?-from four-letter 'c', you know ...... cold! "This is pretty together through simulated images of documents, images, and straight filmaking.Clever, intelligent and sharp, movies like this are all rare.Look by director David Cronenberg, in a cameo evil! |
| Buck Henry is a great screenwriter. He was nominated for an Oscar for The Graduate, and wrote one of the funniest movies I've seen, The Owl and the pussycat. You can add this To Die For movie to the list of major changes (Joyce Maynard's book). Oscar-nominated director Gus Van Sant makes some great films such as Finding Forrester and Good Will Hunting. He did a great job here keeping moving along the action toward the inevitable, but cleverly disguised ending. Now, in the end: Nicole Kidman. Yes, I know that some people think it is a dimension, but the size was perfect for this role. This was his best time was fantastic. A real beauty, that seemed fantastic in this film, and improving your closet a dimension of beauty to any other DVD film To Die For has done for her. Kidman was supported by some fine actors: Matt Dillon (accelerated), as her husband, Joaquin Phoenix (Walk the Line, Gladiator) as her lover, and a bookmark, Illeana Douglas (Grace of My Heart) as suspicious sister-in-law. Hello, Suzanne, did you really think that some goombah would not come knocking on your door? |
| Nicole Kidman gives a stellar performance in a vacuum, but brutal Suzanne, a beautiful sociopath looking for their 15 minutes of fame. When she receives it, just know this woman is going to die with a smile to your face. Morbid humor is ably handled by the model of documentary representation of events. Dillon and Phoenix are excellent in their roles as two of the many men seduced by the charms of Suzanne. Special mention must be Illeana Douglas, who plays the sister of the victim of murder. She moves despite the cynicism involved in a snap. There are many moments to enjoy humor in this film. My two favorite around the letter anecdote. Suzanne not to understand the history, as it relates is priceless. Subsequent failed attempt to use the lessons learned from the story that tops the first gag. Buck Henry also raises a smile every time it occurs. A funny DivX Movie To Die For that also deals with serious issues, to die for rewards with each repeated viewing. |
| i have never been much of a Nicole Kidman or a fan of Gus Van Zant y. I have always found a refreshing Nicole understated beauty but not much of an actress. and the DivX Movie To Die For definitely made me a believer in regard to their performance and screen presence is concerned. since the Australian was surprised by his American accent in this To Die For movie is natural, frisky and full of character. also allows one hand, of course, sexual through the DVD film To Die For itself is called the spark that added. entire DVD film To Die For is well written, well acted and the To Die For Comedy had an evil dark sense of humor. the end is predictable, but also kind of abrupt and could have been much better managed and maintained that this is a 9. Nicole Kidman i really feel that there must be at least an Oscar nomination for best actress of the year this movie: To Die For came out. trust me, its performance is good and the movie: To Die For is very nice too. | This To Die For Comedy film is fantastic and Nicole Kidman made to play Suzanne Stone. It is a sharp satire on the American obsession with television and unreal image of life that comes with it. It's very funny, moving and surprising at the same time. Also the way it was filmed and together is quite original and fits the theme of the film: To Die For perfectly! Must see! |
| This is a different story and certainly interesting. The To Die For film appears as a comedy, but is more of a drama. Yes, the humor is there, but the mood is dark and the violence and tragedy here. Nicole Kidman is very good as the beautiful blonde and ruthless that television has great ambitions. I do not know if I ever saw this nice looking Kidman, which is saying a lot. Matt Dillon co-stars and is excellent, too, as are the two young actors with no name, Joaquin Phoenix and Allison Foland. Ironically, Phoenix, has become a big star, most recently playing the legendary Johnny Cash in "Walk the Line." When this To Die For film came out, few people knew him. Illena Douglas gives an understated performance, and always enjoyed the odd Dan Hedaya. Anyway, if you want to see something different in the form of a story, this To Die For Comedy falls into that category. |
