| Most movies are made for people to let your imagination roam free, this is one of the movies where you can enjoy doing just that! I think the action is great and the special effects of the first class, who cares if there are loop holes in the story or its unrealistic after all is not a drama or a true story to life. Van Helsing has all the action, adventure, horror, comedy and entertainment that you can ask for in a movie. Hugh and Kate has done a great job of bringing history to life. So my advice is to go see this film, sit back and relax and let your imagination roam free for 2 hours! I rate this DVD film Van Helsing 8.5 out of 10. |
| I will say that I am impressed with this DVD movie Van Helsing because it was such a low budget! It is not the greatest film: Van Helsing in the world, but it's exciting and fun. Somethings in this Van Helsing Fantasy are a little higher and sometimes a bit corny, but that is what makes it so good. Hugh Jackman is the one that impressed me most. Van Helsing was very cute and fun to watch. Kate Beckinsale enjoyed, but this was not one of his best films, he did a good job despite! The other players did a very good job, but the new Hugh Jackman DivX film Van Helsing actually stolen and was the best ever! Van Helsing is sometimes fun, exciting, and keeps you on the edge of your seat at times. It's not as bad as some people make it to be. This is a good Van Helsing movie to watch on a rainy day, a boring Sunday afternoon or on Halloween. Take a look at Van Helsing, if you like a lot of action! |
| If you go into this film: Van Helsing expecting anything more than a popcorn Van Helsing film or INDEPENDENCE DAY Sommers' MUMMY films, which is destined to be disappointed. It's eye candy, people, pure and simple. All styles, with just enough substance to maintain interest. Hugh Jackman is perfectly cast for the role, as Beckinsale and Wenham. Without any spoilers, I just wish it had a little more background Van Helsing, and I still like to see Anna in the sequel (and you know that there will be one). Wenham Carl is the good humor, and Van Helsing is essentially the Q for the duration. The three have grown comfortable with their roles, and it shows. Richard Roxburgh is the only drawback here. His Dracula has no charisma, no seduction, no seriously, there is no threat, and not the dark about it. I wonder if the reactions to this Van Helsing Fantasy film could have been better if Dracula has been here a little more traditional threats, seductive, dangerous Dracula. Those who waited for the accuracy of the literary characters, I'm sorry, but should have been obvious from the trailers that it was not appropriate.
